Studio Still Lifes – Part I

while unpacking, sorting, organizing and finding space for everything in my art studio, i found, in order to keep my mind and body from running out the door, i began to set up vignettes, still lives, of items i’d discovered in boxes. i hadn’t noticed, at first, that i was creating them. after a few days, i looked around and realized how many i had set up. it was my minds way of continuing the creative act even while not being creatively active. they were spontaneous and fun.

  1. I love little still life vignettes…creating them and see one’s created by others…love them…a world within a world.

  2. I find myself doing this everywhere I go.

  3. Siobhan says:

Love the still life’s, especially the leaves and banner.
